Glenaven Church is situated at 7 Chambers Street where a rainbow notice says "Colour and status cant segregate us". People of any colour, race, or sexual orientation are welcome.

It is a warm welcoming community where social justice issues are discussed, familiar and modern hymns are sung and coffee and tea are served and it is always warm inside. The buildings are used during the week with the Best Start Montessori pre school.
